The product
What the application does
A mental performance application for athletes, built around three roles — the player, the coach, the parent — and designed from the outset to host minors.
That last constraint is not a legal detail added afterwards: it explains most of the choices in the product, down to the absence of profile pictures.
The daily routine
Two short moments, every day, and nothing more. In the morning, a check-in on a six-point scale with no neutral middle. In the evening, the journal: three questions in narrative form, and a single paragraph rewritten after each entry, saying what the journal has been telling from the start.
The routine is not the heart of the product. It is the metronome that makes the whole thing possible.
The questionnaires
This is the central part. The principle that governs them is reciprocity: you answer, you receive your reading. That is what separates the object from a form. A result belongs to the person who produced it, and becomes visible to a coach only through an explicit act of sharing.
Around the routine
- Routines — a trigger, an action, a reward — some of which attach themselves to calendar events.
- Progress read in completed quests. One active quest at a time, no streaks, no leaderboards.
- A calendar shared between a coach and their team, exportable to a personal calendar.
Three roles
- Player
- Everything that concerns them, and they decide precisely what they share.
- Coach
- Their own pages, plus the squad, the calendar and the team badges. They can neither add to nor alter a player’s record.
- Parent
- Grant or withdraw a consent, export, close the account. No writing, and no notifications: they open the application to answer, not to watch.
What the application will not do
No alert, no flag, no signal about a person’s state. The application never decides that someone needs help — not today, not later.
No conversation with an artificial intelligence: no thread, no agent, no dialogue box. The person fills in fields, the server calls once, a text comes back and is placed in the screen.
The data
Hosted within the European Union. Every read of a person’s data is recorded and consultable by them — including ours. No data of a living account erases itself, and withdrawing a consent stops the data being used without destroying it.
The detail is in the privacy policy, including the reservation we cannot round off.
